Strength and Conditioning

Strength, mobility, and the endurance to put it all together — that’s what you’ll gain through our Strength and Conditioning classes!

Whether you are an athlete looking to increase performance and reduce the risk of injury or just someone who wants to be stronger and more fit, this varied circuit and cross-training fitness class is for you.

Low Impact

Our low impact exercise classes are designed to focus on form, mobility, stability, and strength so you can get the exercise you need without putting undue strain or weight on your muscles and joints.

You will have scheduled 6 week cycle workout phases that cycle through the same 3 workout split to achieve progressive overload, including warm-ups that are provided before the class so you can practice before class begins or at home. Workout sheets are provided so you can track your workouts, and learning form and centre of mass is a large priority. This semi-private fitness class is lower intensity than our other cross-training class, while still being fantastic for gaining the strength you need to stay healthy.

Barbell and Strength

Interested in learning everything resistance training-related and make the weightroom a second home? North Star Fitness's Barbell and Strength class is the answer.

Coached by Adrian since 2014, this class uses techniques from all disciplines such as bodybuilding, powerlifting, weightlifting, and strongman to get you familiar with barbells, dumbbells, machines, bands, and more to make you your strongest and feel confident walking into any gym!

Lifting weights is a lifelong journey, and our philosophy is to continually adjust, progress, and improve throughout.

6 AM Bootcamp

All classes begin with a light warm up and dynamic mobility for proper set up. The focus of the workouts are reflected on a 4 day training schedule, that alternate strength movements, designed to have you feeling your best while being able to see and track your progress.
