I have over 15 years of experience as a Kinesiologist, personal trainer, gym owner, and educator. My expertise is working with individuals new to fitness or dealing with injuries. STUART'S BIO

After acquiring my Kinesiology degree at the University of Winnipeg, I became a certified personal trainer and exercise physiologist through CSEP. I started my own business in 2008, opening two gyms in Winnipeg. I went on to teach at the University of Winnipeg and taught/certified hundreds of other personal trainers through the Manitoba Fitness Council.

My background in athletic therapy helped build my foundation for personal training. My expertise of training adults with chronic injuries quickly became my niche. Helping clients understand how and why their bodies are responding in specific ways to past injuries, weaknesses, or limitations; allows my clients to train with the confidence needed to reach their goals.

Education / Experience

With over 15 years experience personal training, multiple certifications and University education in injury management; I am ready and eager to work with you. I will apply everything I have learned in my academics and in the field to help you succeed confidently and safely. With your permission, I will work directly with your physiotherapist, massage therapist or other practitioner to stay up to date on the progress of any injuries you may be working through.

Consult / Assessment

We will start with a 45-60 minute complimentary consultation and assessment. We will review your exercise history, goals, injuries, and lifestyle to help build your ideal program and behavioral goals. The physical assessment will establish some baselines of functional movement patterns. We will then go over my recommendations for how we should approach your training and best strategies for you to reach your goals.

Worry- Free Workouts

Your personalized program will be put together with consideration for everything we discovered in the consultation. Programming generally follows a 4-6 week progressive cycle, with the focus of the program changing with each phase.

Home workouts are great for complimenting our 1-on-1 sessions and seeing quicker results. Your home workouts come with a picture and video reference so you will never have to guess if you’re doing the exercises properly!
