This week’s theme is eating right, as we looking into our eating habits.
Your daily bonus challenge is to look at your food intake for the past few weeks, and look at whether you tend to always eat the same foods. If you find that you are always eating the same group of 4 or 5 foods every day, make a shopping list (for your next shopping trip), that does not include the foods that you tend to be your go-to foods. If you only noticed that you only ate 1 or 2 kinds of proteins e.g. eggs and beef or if you see that you only eat broccoli and carrots as your vegetable, then when you plan your meals for the week, try to avoid one or both of those foods, just for a few days. The idea is to rotate your foods so that you can avoid food sensitivities and allergies. This strategy also helps to ensure that you are getting a variety of micro-nutrients in your diet.
