Introducing Deezar Physiotherapy at CrossFit Winnipeg

[et_pb_section bb_built=”1″][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.19.4″]

When CrossFit Winnipeg was born in 2008, I dreamt that one day it would be a “One-Stop-Shop” for all things health, fitness and performance. Sometimes things take a while to happen, but this month we take one more step in the right direction! We are extremely excited to announce that Deezar Physiotherapy will be operating out of CrossFit Winnipeg starting February 16th, 2019.

If the name Deezar sounds familiar, it’s because Deezar Physiotherapy is owned and operated by one of our long-time members & staff members: Josée Deezar, MPT, B.Sc.  Josée has been training with us since 2012 and has been part of our office staff for several years. You may have had the pleasure of working out with her in the mornings or meeting her at the front desk on weekends. We jumped at the opportunity to work with a care provider who knows exactly what we do. She does the same workouts all our members do, and is also certified as an Agatsu instructor. She’s also experienced in providing physiotherapy services to all groups of individuals in the community at large.

This partnership is part of our long term vision, and out commitment to health and wellness. Our role as fitness trainers and coaches allows us to help you get fitter and stronger, and move better. However, diagnosis and treatment are outside our scope of practice, so it was important to us to add a primary care provider to our facility to round out our existing personal training, nutrition, and massage therapy offerings. Josée can assist with the aches and pains that come with any sport or activity, but she can also help you deal with movement dysfunction and mobility issues before they become a problem. We firmly believe in and preventative care and the importance of movement based therapy to improve functional performance and quality of life.

Josée is looking forward to working with you!
