Another blurb on programming
With the announcement of the Saskatchewan Challenge, and the amount of interest being expressed in competing, we’ve decided to design our core training program around preparing our athletes for this event. That being said, I have also designed the program to accommodate those who are not competing in the challenge and are interested in building up a bigger base of strength. The new programming phase begins on Monday.
Mon, Wed, Fri is still the preferred program for 3/week, although many other combinations can and certainly do work.
Tue, Wed, Thur, Sat, Sun is the core program for peaking in time for the Saskatchewan challenge. This will feature a few triple days on Saturdays. Some of these workouts will be long, and can be scaled in terms of time for the non-competing athletes.
Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat is a good schedule for those not competing in the Saskatchewan challenge that would like to see an increase in strength base. Saturdays will not be triples for these athletes.
Ask questions if you got’em.
