Crossfit Winnipeg is excited to welcome Josée Deezar (M.P.T., B. Sc.) and Quentin Raval (M.P.T., B. Sc.) to our team!
Deezar-Raval Physiotherapy is now operating out of CrossFit Winnipeg and are offering physiotherapy services in French and English to our clients and to the community. Their active approach focuses on the use of manual therapy techniques and exercise-based rehab programs for acute and chronic injuries. Quentin and Josée take pride in their patients’ care and understand rehabilitation programs should be personalized to fit each individual and their goals. To insure enough one-on-one time is provided, they offer 60-minute initial assessments and 30 minute follow up treatment sessions.
Physiotherapists are primary health care providers, which means you do not need a doctor’s referral in order to access physiotherapy services. Physiotherapists are equipped to help treat a variety of acute and chronic injuries, pain and musculoskeletal conditions such as:
- Muscle strains
- Ligament and joint sprains
- Tendon injuries/tendinopathies
- Neck pain and headaches
- Back pain
- Shoulder and rotator cuff pain
- Joint pain and arthritis
- Nerve irritations
- Pre and post surgery for hip and knee joint replacements
- Day to day pain and injuries
- Management of chronic pain
- Mobility deficits
- Injuries following a car accident
- Work injuries
- Injury prevention
Both Quentin and Josée have a vast array of knowledge and experience with various sports, training programs and sports rehabilitation through their years of participating in sport, coaching and Crossfit. They will take the time to understand the background and nature of your injury, perform a thorough biomechanical assessment, identify your specific treatment goals and establish a rehabilitation plan to get you back to doing the activities you love to do.
Through a combination of manual therapy techniques and an exercise-based program, your physiotherapist will work with you to guide you through your rehabilitation program, help manage your pain and improve your overall function and quality of life.
Offered physiotherapy services include:
- Manual therapy
- Exercise rehabilitation

This partnership is part of our long term vision, and out commitment to health and wellness. Our role as fitness trainers and coaches allows us to help you get fitter and stronger, and move better. However, diagnosis and treatment are outside our scope of practice, so it was important to us to add a primary care provider to our facility to round out our existing personal training, nutrition, and massage therapy offerings. Josée and Quentin can assist with the aches and pains that come with any sport or activity, but she can also help you deal with movement dysfunction and mobility issues before they become a problem. We firmly believe in and preventative care and the importance of movement based therapy to improve functional performance and quality of life.
